January 6, 2014-The Winter Fancy Food Show is the West Coast's largest speciality Food and Beverage trade show. It is held, annually, in January and will take place from January 11-13, this year. At the upcoming event, Davidovich Bakery will have the opportunity to showcase its Artisan products, including its world famous all natural, hand made, kettle boiled plank baked, Kosher, Pas Yisroel Davidovich Bagels to more than 20,000 attendees, from around the globe, in San Francisco CA.

The Essex Street Market will soon present foodies with a veritable smorgasbord, by way of a tasting event and 

after party. Local vendors are lined up to showcase their finest, through unlimited bites and bevs. The event will 

also showcase Celeb Chef Brooks Headley of Del Posto, who will cook some tasty bits made exclusively from 

Essex Street Market vendor ingredients. After that, you and your food coma can roll on over to the dj’ed after 

party at the Essex Restaurant.  It seems that the considerable tasting events around New York often leave a 

bitter taste in the mouth; supply never satisfies demand and all that. Here’s hoping that the hosts, Time Out 

New York and the Lower East Side Business Improvement District, have figured out a happy medium that 

isn’t building capacity, and that attendees know “tasting” isn’t synonymous with “all-you-can-eat-buffet.”

The night of sampling is slated for February 20, 7 – 9:30pm, with the after party rocking from 9:30 tip 

the break of dawnclose. Sorry kiddos, the event event is 21+.  You can grab tickets ($30) at Time Out.

February 8, 2014-            The new year has brought the promise of exciting new products, events and opportunities from the Davidovich Bakery Team.   Here are just a few of the exciting things happening in an effort to provide the wholesale world and the consuming public with the finest Artisan baked goods and service in the world:

The Food Babe

1.   Azodicarbonamide-     Prior to last week, the vast majority of the public had never heard of this widely used chemical in baked goods containing bleached flour, but thanks to, Charlotte-based Food Blogger, The Food Babe, the Subway restaurant chain has agreed to remove it from their ingredients list.  Davidovich Bakery lauds this "grass-roots" campaign to improve the health of American Consumers.  

While this change may be new for Subway, Davidovich Bakery has a long history of leading the charge towards better baking through the use of only the finest ingredients.   This includes:

• No Azodicarbonamide in its flour
• Only unbleached flour is used in its products
• No, cancer causing, bromating agents are used in its products
• No artifical enzymes, food colors or chemicals are used in any products
• No GMO's used in any of their ingredients

The concept of "clean" baking is nothing new for the Davidovich Bakery Team-it has been part of the mission to bring consumers, not only the best tasting, but also the finest food profile in baked goods available since 1998.
